Dwell Best Construction took over the reins of a half-finished kitchen renovation from a non-responsive contractor whose work quality and standards were sadly deficient. They were quick to fix all of the problems that had been left, and provided expert and nuanced advice about what it would take to complete the project. Since I was out of state for the first stage of the project I trusted them to bring it in on-time and to-budget - and they delivered. Because of their work, I’ve been told the new kitchen should be featured in Architectural Digest. I was so satisfied with the final outcome that I subsequently retained Dwell Best to undertake a full house renovation on an old house that was very much in need of some TLC. This entailed the creation of a brand new master bathroom suite, the addition of a powder room, the full renovation of original floorboards and done foundations, re-prepping and painting the walls throughout, expert floor and wall tiling in six different locations, a structural analysis and the replacement of termite-damage, the removal of an internal wall, the addition of new shelves and doors, and detailing throughout. Given the nature of the house there were many idiosyncrasies - this was not a straightforward project - but Dwell tackled them with aplomb and fixed all the existing problems. Once again, they brought this project in on-time and to budget. Perhaps the most important thing is that they were immediately responsive to my enquiries, gave fantastic advice, supervised the project closely and used professional competent people whenever needed. Had it not been for some COVID-related supply chain delay issues, they might even have completed the project early. I am 100% satisfied with these guys and would hire them again.
